Frequently asked questions

You can buy as many tickets as you like! The more tickets you buy, the greater your chances of winning. You can also enter into as many different lotteries as you want.

Tickets are purchased in increments of 1000 GME. For every 1000 GME you send, you get 1 ticket. If you want 9 tickets, you must send 9000 GME. If you send an amount that is not a multiple of 1000, you will receive a number of tickets rounded down to the nearest 1000, and the extra GME will go into the lottery pool. For example, if you send 1850 GME, you will receive 1 ticket, if you send 2025 GME, you will receive 2 tickets, etc. But if you send 1850 and then 150, you will get 2 tickets at the end.

Only GME tokens can purchase lottery tickets. Other tokens are ineligible.

No. When you send funds to the lottery wallet, they are committed. Be careful to send the correct amount that you want to send.

Each transaction sent to the wallet is logged and available on the ongoing lottery page.

70% of all ticket sales go to the lottery jackpot. 25% of ticket sales go to the community marketing wallet. 5% of ticket sales get immediately burnt.

Winners will be selected on Wednesdays at 7:00pm UTC. At that time, the balance of the jackpot will automatically be sent to the winning wallet.

Winners are selected through an automated process that randomly pulls a wallet address from the pool of ticket holders. Odds of a single wallet getting selected increase with the number of tickets that wallet has purchased.

Lotteries are drawn weekly. We will occasionally run a monthly lottery for a larger jackpot.
